Our planet’s coral reefs provide shelter to 25% of marine species and have an important role in protecting our shorelines. Coral reefs also help contribute to important industries like fishing, tourism and medicine. Yet as ocean temperatures rise, these magnificent underwater ecosystems become endangered. In this journey, we take the viewer through the stages of coral reef bleaching.

When water temperatures are normal, the coral is healthy and vibrant, filled with fish and marine life swimming about.
As time goes on, the effects of ocean warming being to impact the coral. As the temperature increases, the colorful algae begins to to be expelled by the coral, causing the coral to fade.
